Trump supporter spits on Black woman as BLM protest "mic-checks" restaurant

On the 22nd of August, a man reported to have worn a Trump hat (but not wearing it as he spit) spit on a Black woman after initiating a conflict with protesters holding a "mic-check" at the restaurant he was eating at. It the COVID pandemic, this is assault with a deadly weapon.

This has been a long, hot summer of protest and direct action against racism and police brutality. Fascists and Trump supporters have responded with gunshots in several places, pipe bombs in Portland, pushing through crowds with cars (e.g the "Georgetown Karen" incident), and now with spitting. Spitting in someone's face during a pandemic tramsmissable by spitting is a biological attack.

Elsewhere in DC, a "large protester presence" was reported at Black Lives Matter Plaza, possibly for the scheduled Sunset Yoga
