On the 24th of September, J6 insurgents and their supporters returned to DC for the 2nd September in a row. There may have been as few as 80 of them. Two large groups of Proud Boys were spotted outside the city but may have flaked out or othewise not made it in. Cops aggressively fended off and attempted to kettle counterprotesters.

On the 23ed of September, Harriet's Dreams showed up to protest at the homes of MPD (DC police) chief Contee. They were there to protest recent shootings by DC cops.

On the 22nd of September, protesters against Manchin's planned fast-track approval of the long-stalled Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) showed up at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). A serious attempt to get up the side of the building by ladder for a banner hang was defeated by police interference but the point was still made.

The so-called "Justices" of the Supreme Court are still getting protests at their homes over the death of Roe V Wade on the altar of right-wing Fundamentalist Christianity. On the 21st of September, protesters returned to the homes of "Justices" Brett Kavanaugh (AKA Rapey Brett) and John Roberts.

Early morning on the 21st of September, Extinction Rebellion DC showed up in front of the offices of the so-called "Public Service Commission." They painted a street murel renaming it the "Department of Climate Chaos" for failing to shut down Washington Gas's proposed $4.5 billion distribution pipe replacement plan.

The DC Bike Party's September ride was a big one, bikes as far as the eye could see on Mass Ave at one point.

On the 14th of September, protesters targetted GOP Senator Lindsey Graham for the seccond day in a row over his introduction of a bill to ban abortion in all 50 states after 15 weeks. This time around, protesters went to his house not far from the US Capitol.

So much for Lindsey Graham's talk of leaving abortion issues for state governments much less those who can get pregnant to decide-whgat a hypocrite!

On the 13th of September, GOP Senator Lindsey Graham introduced a bill to ban abortion nationwide after 15 weeks. He then showed up at the so-called "Susan B Anthony" ball-a militantly antichoice event that this year is celebrating the Supreme Court legalizaing forced-birth laws w the Dobbs decision. Furious protesters outside made attendees (Graham included) run a gauntlet of screaming activists to get in.

Late night on the 10th of September, supporters of Adams-Morgan Plaza removed most of Truist Bank's fancy netting concealing the still-existing plaza from public eyes. They also hung posters condemning Truist Bank's murderous behavior in closing the Plaza, which was responsible for the death of an unhoused DC resident last Spring.

On the 8th of September, protesters again returned to the home of Supreme Court Justice and "witchburner" Samuel Alito. For the first time, Fairfax County police showed up with a dB meter and complained about sound levels.

On the 8th of September, opponents of destructive fossil fuel projects and especially the Mountain Valley Pipeline descended on Capitol Hill. They are seeking to block Senate approval of Manchin's climate bill side deal to "streamline" permitting for fossil fuel projects and "expedite" the Mountain Valley pipeline. One managed to confront Manchin in person.

On the 5th of September, protesters at the entrance to Supreme Court "Justice" Neil Gorsuch's private neighborhood called him out for occupying a Supreme Court seat stolen by Mitch McConnell from former President barrack Obama. They also called him out for doing so in a Supreme Court that like his house set on stolen Indigenous land.

On the 5th of September, protesters again returned to the Supreme Court in opposition to the Dobbs antiabortion decision-and to the efforts by the Koch-funded "Judicial Crisis Network" attempts to criminalize pro-choice protests at the homes of so-called "Justices." The big siege fence is gone but the protesters are NOT.

On the 29th of August, the Supreme Court's security forces removed the big "siege fence" that had been up since shortly after the May leak of the draft version of the antichoice Dobbs ruling. Activists descended on the plaza to chalk up pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ, and anti-Fascist messages.

On the 27th of August, protesters returned to the N Va home of Supreme Court "Injustice" Samuel Alito yet again. This time around, the protest focussed on Alito's use of Matthew Hale's writings as source material for the Dobbs/abortion ruling. Protester, one dressed as a "Halloween Witch" called out Matthew Hale's executions of women for witchcraft.

On the 26th of August,protesters showed up at the DC offices of At the the HQ of the Fraternal Order of Police. This was called "America’s most violent fraternity" as protesters demanded that the DC government or MPD itself get killer cops off the streets. The FPO is infamous for defending killer cops from investigation, prosecution, or even being fired for their crimes.

On the 22th of August, SEIU-organized staff members at American University walked out on strike demanding decent pay and benefits. The strike is ongoing and everyone is being reminded NOT to cross picket lines
