"Justice" Clarence Thomas gets another home protest after gifts scandal breaks

On the 10th of April, protesters returned to the home of Supreme Court "Justice" Clarence Thomas and his wife Ginni. This came after the scandal broke concerning Thomas accepting years of unlawful gifts of luxury travel and hospitality from a billionaire GOP donor.

H st NW Wal-Mart closes

On the 31st of March, the Wal-Mart on H st NW in DC closed their doors, part of a series of store closings by this infamous chain. No reason was given for closing the DC store, but Wal-Mart credited shoplifters with forcing them to pull all the way out of Portland, WA. Wal-Mart never succeeded in forcing the nearby Giant Food at 3ed and H st NE to close. Years ago, any Wal-Mart that did not "Capture 100%" of nearby retail was deemed a failure and targetted for closing.

Another successful Drag Queen Story Hour defense in DC

On the 8th of April, another drag queen story hour was successfully held on Barrack's Row in SE Washington DC. A stout defense by umbrella-wielding drag defenders deterred anyone from mounting a serious attack and shielded the kids and performers from low level harassment.

Donald Trump's surrender and arraignment on 34 felony counts drew duelling protests to NYC, but anti-Trump protesters had the edge. Marjorie Taylor Greene was supposed to be the star of the pro-Trump protest but she had to abandon her attempt to appear and run for it (with a massive security escort) when anti-Trump protesters swarmed her attempt to enter the area.

CCAN holds "EPA Stop Smoking" protest against delay of power plant CO2 regs

On the 4th of April, Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAA) held a rally and march on the headquarters of the EPA. They were demanding that the EPA stop delaying the issuance of carbon and other emission regulations for power plants and other major facilities. A New Orleans style brass band was included in the march, as is often the case in DC action.

Nazis with "1488" Banner miss memo that Trans Day of Vengeance was cancelled, get tackled at Supreme Court. One drew pepper spray (originally thought to be a knife) but wasn't fighter enough to use it before getting his weapon hand pinned amd finally arrested by cops.
