This year the alt-right is taking its ideology and malice on a nationwide tour. It’s no surprise that the final stop is the front of the White House at Lafayette Square. Trump is the white nationalists’ President. While ICE separates children from their parents at the border, Patriot Prayer and Proud Boys hold anti-immigrant rallies. It’s up to us to halt their march!

We are calling all anti-fascists and people of good conscience to participate in international days of action August 10 through August 12 and a mass mobilization in Washington DC. This is for Heather Heyer, ICE abolition, open borders, dismantling the prison industrial complex, and ending the settler colonial system. We will confront fascism, antisemitism, Islamaphobia, white supremacy, and state violence on August 10-12.

Neo-Confederates in Richmond carry rifles, hide behind cops from anti-fascists anyway

On the 5th of May, 12 members of the "DIxie Defenders" and "Confederate States of America II" showed up in front of the Robert E Lee monument in Richmond, VA. They mostly hid behind police even though three of them carried military style AR-15 rifles. Opposing them were between 50 and 100 people in three clusters of counterprotesters.

Long has it been said that "cops and the Klan work hand in hand." On Apr 28, police used all available strength to defend an alt-right even for the second week in a row. The American Renaissance Conference (driven out of DC in 2010) met that day in Montgomery Bell State Park in TN. Protesters had the choice of staying out of sight and sound or marching into a protest pen where all entrants were searched.

Anti-Fascist protesters confront Cernovich's event at City Club of Washington

On Feb 24th, Mike Cernovich and others associated with the Deploraball were back in DC. They held "A Night for Freedom DC" at The City Club of Washington just a block from the Deploraball site, running the gauntlet of loud anti-fascist protesters to get in and often being photographed. Attempts by the fascists to conceal their venue location ended in failure, with protesters descending on their party.

State of the Union protesters boo Trump's motocade, march in the streets

Trump's State of the Union address drew protesters who lined both probable motorcade routes, booring as his motorcade passed. As soon as it did, protesters turned their backs on Trump's SOTU and left, some dispersing and others marching away. There were even calls for a TV boycott of the speech in an effort to deplatform Trump.

Associate of Jack Posobiec with history of racist and sexist Internet activity identified as finance manager in DC School system.

John Goldman is a finance manager working for the DC Public Schools who has a history of posting racist and pro-rape screeds under the name "Jack Murphy." He has been positively identified by a number of photographs, at least one showing him with known fascist and Deploraball organizer Jack Posobiec. That photo was taken at an "escape the room" event and clearly shows John Goldman AKA Jack Murphy with Jack Posobiec. As of this posting, John Goldman has reportedly been placed on "adminstrative leave" while the schools figure out what to do about the stench his Internet activity has raised.

Alt-right no-show in Charlotte, NC

On the 28th of December, the alt-right "anticom" group was scheduled to march in Charlotte, NC but did not show up. About 100 anti-fascists and about 25 members of Indivisible (the Democrat's answer to the Tea Party) held a counterprotest in Marshall Park,both ensuring anticom stayed away and celebrating victory by forfeit over the fascists.
