Trump protesters focus on women's issues on 2nd night of marches, 3rd night of protest

On the 10th of November, anti-Trump protesters took to DC's streets for a second night in a row, chanting things like "My body my Choice" and "Pussy Grabs Back." Marchers surged from Trump Hotel to the White House to the Capitol, back and forth the marches went. There is also an unconfirmed report thatr Georgetown Day School students stormed Trump Hotel earlier in the day. This was actually the 3ed night of protests as the Light brigade set up at the White House shortly after Trump claimed the election.

Protesters march on Trump Hotel, burn US flag, throw paint

On the 9th of November, protesters marched on Trump Hotel at least three separate times. The first march started at the White House and marched to Trump Hotel chanting "No Trump, no KKK no racist USA." A second, equally large march arrived from U before that first massive siege of the hotel could entirely disperse, and contained some militant activists. One group burned the US flag, which will be the flag of Donald Trump after Jan 20. Shortly therafter someone threw a paint projectile, scoring a direct hit on the building.

Updates Nov 10:Twitter reports indicate a Black Lives Matter organizer not involved in the flag burning, paint projectile, or any other such incident was assaulted by a "rogue" police officer. Also report in Washington Post of flags burned in protest at American University, no reports of police violence there.

Trump Hotel ribbon-cutting driven indoors by protest

On the 26th of October, Donald Trump planned to stage a ceremonial ribbon-cutting to "open" his hotel on Penn Ave. Protesters got there first and defied police demands to shut down and move. Thus the ribbon cutting had to be held indoors while an ever-growing number of protesters from ANSWER, trade unions, Code Pink, and many more groups controlled the Plaza.

Trump-loving "Alt-right" speaker at U-MD cancelled citing "security expenses"

On the 25th of October, Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos was scheduled to speak at University of MD. He is known for directing hate at Muslims and at Black Lives Matter activists. With other universities at which he peddled his hate claiming to have received bomb threats,Terps for Trump(the student group hosting his event) cancelled, claiming security expenses would exceeed $2,000 and the total expense of letting him speak exceed $6,500. Hate has been made too expensive even for priviliged white republicans at University of MD.

"Trump is a Pig" posters appear on DC lamp posts

Decades ago, scandal after scandal brought down former Reagan adminstration attorney general Edwin Meese III. As the scandals escalated, "Meese is a Pig" posters appeared all over DC, sometimes in huge clusters. The last batch read "Experts Agree-Meese is a Pig!" Now Donald Trump is receiving a taste of the same treatment in the wake of that raging sex tape scandal.

Donald Trump visit to Capitol Hill draws protests over racism and outsourcing

On the 7th of July, Donald Trump visited GOP officials at the Capitol Hill Club near the US Capitol. Outside, protesters denounced him for racism, sexism, homophobia-and for outsourcing millions of US jobs to other countries. There was mention that the over a billion dollars he managed to lose running his own casino imply his economic performance as President would also lead to bankruptcy. Trump got in and out the back door, same way the rest of the garbage leaves the club and in this case enters. Afterwards, one GOP attendee described Trump and Speaker Paul Ryan as now being "teammates." Unless this is for public consumption, it's opposite what WTOP radio has been saying about GOP unity

Trump deposition draws protest by HRC morning after huge Orlando vigil in Dupont Circle

On the morning of the 16th of June, appearance by Donald Trump at a DC law firm to give a deposition drew protesters from the nearby Human Rights Campaign. The previous night thousands had gathered in Dupont Circle to remember those killed by theocratic hate in Orlando, Florida. Some of them no doubt came from HRC, so when Trump showed up they were probably not inclined to tolerate his throwing more fuel on the flames of hate and religious warfare.
