On Dec 1, a banquet for the so-called "Capitol Hill Crisis Pregnancy Center" was held at a Marriot in Crystal City. Protesters showed up outside chanting and banging drums. In addition, a projector was used to show messages on the side of the building. On top of all else, three protesters got inside and shouted down the proceedings. One person screamed "Jane Says Revenge, motherfuckers! Blood on your hands!

On the 4th of November, the climate hunger strikers backed by Sunrise DC confronted Senator Joe Manchin (D?-WV) as he left his multimillion dollar yacht to access the parking garage and drive to Capitol Hill. Protesters followed him into the garage. When protesters surrounded his Masarati, Senator Joe Manchin put the car in gear and drove directly into the protesters blocking his car.

On the 7th of May, Extinction Rebellion DC and other groups acting in solidarity with Anishaabe activists marched on multiple downdown branches of Wells Fargo. They dumped fake oil, rolled oil barrels and marched a giant Black Snake in the streets, and tried to give away wild rice soaked in oil. Cops didn't know only Wells Fargo was being targetted, so they blocked entry to all banks near the protests, effectively shutting them down.

On the 29th of November, as other stormed the shopping malls with nothing but holiday plunder on their minds, the weekly #FireDrillFridays climate/fossil fuels protest at the US Capitol morphed into a funeral march for young activist's futures. Teenage speakers reminded everyone that scientists now say there is only a decade left to avoid irreversible climage chaos-and that failure to act may destroy their future lives.

On the 19th of November, a group of hunger strikers from Extinction Rebellion set up shop in the cafeteria used by the Montgomery County council. They demanded the council back up its words on climate emergency with actual deeds which so far have been lacking. This cooincides with Extinction Rebellion's hunger strike in Nancy Pelosi's office also demanding serious measures on climate change.

On the 8th of November, #RemoveTrump joined forces with Jane Fonda's #FireDrillFridays for a massive pro-impeachment march from the US Capitol to the White House. A sit-in was staged there but no reports of arrests at this writing.

DC's annual High Heel Race took place on October 29, the last Tuesday before Halloween. One contingent was dressed in referee's uniforms, blew whistles, and chanted "Lock Him Up!" This was just two days after Donald Trump was jeered with the same chant at the World Series and nearly booed out of the stadium.

On the 26th of October, Black Lives Matter activists backed by allies showed up in front of the PG County police station on Barlowe Rd in Landover, MD. They were there to demand that the cops who broke Monte's neck during a traffic stops on Oct 17, the proceeded to break his back too be fired for this outrage. There were rumblings the cops would respond with the SWAT unit, instead they mostly stayed inside in shame.
